Fetching Gutenberg docs

The Project Gutenberg provides free books. You may fetch your favored books online via the provided searchform, or offline by preparing the downloads.

Preparing downloads is cumbersome because booktitle and URL dont match. I wrote two PERL-scripts:

gutenbergrdf2openoffice: Projekt Gutenberg provides a list of all provided books in RDF format. This rdf is processed by the perlscript to an OpenOffice spreadsheet document which may be viewed via OpenOffice.
The idea is to mark each book that shall be downloaded with an "x" in the first column of this spreadsheet.
gutenbergopenofficefetch: This spreadsheet is scanned for the "x" markings, which will be downloaded by thie perlscript

The scripts were developed under LINUX. Example:

./gutenbergrdf2openoffice catalog.rdf

OOo catalog.rdf.sxc

... manual "x" insertion ...

./gutenbergopenofficefetch catalog.rdf.sxc

./gutenbergopenofficefetch may get a second argument if you wish to change the download server, eg.: ./gutenbergopenofficefetch catalog.rdf.sxc "ftp://pandemonium.tiscali.de/pub/gutenberg/"
